   Submit plans to Planning Department for Design Review Approval.

   Submit Construction Plans for Building Permit Application.
            Pay Plan Check Fees.

3    Plans Reviewed for Compliance with Design Review Approval.
            Plans may be reviewed by Town Engineer, Public Works, Fire
                Department, Sanitary District, Marin County Public Health
                Department (when applicable).

4    Building Department In-House Plan Check for UBC Compliance
            or..Some projects may be sent to Outside Plan Checking Service.

5    Plan Check Completed.
            Permit Fees Calculated.
            Applicant notified Permit ready to issue.

   Pay School District & Sanitary District Assessments when applicable.

7    Pay Permit Fees (based on estimated cost).
            Contractor's License verified.
            Workers Comp Insurance verified.
            Permit issued.

8    Schedule required Construction Inspections.
            At time of Final Inspection project is re-evaluated based on
                 Actual Project Costs.
            Pay Additional Fees if required.
            Project is complete.
